Musical Treasures

These piano tuning tools are part of my treasures.  Why you ask?  They belonged to my dad who not only played the accordion, cordavox, organ and piano but he also learned how to tune pianos when he was stationed in Washington State during WWII.

The best legacy that he left me was the memories of the times we spent together. He not only played by reading notes but he could play by ear so I could hum any tune and he could play it.

What a treat it was when your dad played the accordion. All the cousins, aunts, uncles, and neighbors loved when he played for us. What happened to his accordion. do you have it? Wasn't it pearl and red?
